Wallet safety

The game knows your public address and nothing else. It never asks for keys and never sends a transaction for you.

The game was built so that it cannot touch your funds. It never connects to your wallet: it reads public data about your address, the same data any block explorer shows.

What the one signature does

During setup your wallet signs a short text message on a dth.family page. Signing a message proves you own the address. It is not a transaction: it moves nothing, approves nothing and costs no fee. The message names dth.family, so you can tell our page from a copy.

What the game never asks for

  • Your seed phrase or private key. Never, anywhere.
  • A token approval or a connection that lets it spend.
  • A transaction to play. Walking, worlds, bosses, loot and the forge are all free.

The only optional transaction

Opening an item box or sending a callout to every world burns some $HEROES. You approve that burn yourself in your wallet, on a dth.family page, and you can always skip it: every item can also drop from bosses for free.

One wallet, one computer

A wallet can be set up on one installation of the game, so nobody else can play as your hero.
